Program Description

Far West Talent & Promotions operates the Far West Talent Open Dates program. When a booking date opens up at a venue or festival we work with, we send a text message to artists who have opted in and who are located within range of that date, so you have a chance at the slot.

This is a one-way notification program. Replies other than the keywords below are not monitored, so please use email or phone to respond to an opportunity.

How to Opt In

You can join the program by checking the text message consent box on our artist submission form, or by telling a member of our staff directly, in which case we record your consent on your file.

The consent box is never pre-checked, and joining is completely optional. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of representation, of being booked, or of appearing on our roster or website. We never add an artist to this program without express permission.

How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message from us and you will be removed from the program. You will get a single confirmation message, and then no further texts. You can also email or call us using the details below and we will turn it off on your file.

Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us directly.

Frequency & Cost

• Message frequency varies. It depends entirely on how many booking dates open up near you, and there may be long stretches with no messages at all.
• Message and data rates may apply. Far West Talent does not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier may, according to your plan.

Carriers & Delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your carrier’s network and to the transmission limits of your device. We cannot guarantee that any message will arrive, or arrive in time for you to act on a date.

Your Privacy

We do not share or sell mobile opt-in information or phone numbers to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used to send you these notifications and nothing else. Our full Privacy Policy explains how we handle the rest of the information you give us.

Supported Devices

These messages are standard SMS text messages and require a mobile phone capable of receiving them. They are not app-based and require no download.
