Harmonica player in Alpine, out in the Big Bend. Todd grew up in New Braunfels and came west to Sul Ross State University, and he has been part of the Alpine music scene ever since — most regularly with the Doodlin' Hogwallops, the honky-tonk collective that has played every Viva Big Bend and traditionally closes the festival on its last night at Railroad Blues. He also plays with the LateComers. Away from the stage he runs Broken Anvil Blacksmithing and has been forging iron since he was nineteen. His own description of what he does on the harp: "cowboy playing harmonica like a freight train."
